MESQUITE AND SKEET BBQ A HUGE SUCCESS!

WINNERS OF RIFLE RAFFLE ANNOUNCED!

Saturday August 9th was a gorgeous day in the oak tree studded hills of California .    And for the folks who attended our annual Mesquite and Skeet BBQ it was an especially fantastic day!     Over 190 people enjoyed the festivities including Japanese martial arts demonstrations, cowboy re-enactors, live falcons and hawks as well as archery and air gun shooting.    

One lucky young lady named Carissa was even selected for training to actually use a real samurai sword to hack bamboo!

All the kids in attendance got squirt guns and cork pop guns to take home with them as door prizes.

And everyone got very, very fat on great BBQ.

But the biggest winners on Saturday were the lucky people whose tickets were selected for our grand prizes.... the Marlin 30 - 30 and M 1 Garand rifles.

Ticket number 635151 got Paul Ellis of Milpitas a brand new Marlin 30-30.

And Ticket number 634881 earned Manuel Vallejo of Fremont the Grand Prize.... our CMP M1 Garand!
