Withdraw Solicitor General's brief in the DC/Heller Case by member John J.Dear President Bush,
I have been a long term registered Republican and strong supporter of your presidency. However I consider the Solicitor Generals brief in the DC/Heller case before the Supreme Court to be a major betrayal. The 2nd amendment of the Bill of Rights states that " right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." I don't unerstand how a low standard of review for banning firearms is acceptable.
I request that you have the brief withdrawn.
