Nordyke vs. KingOver 9 years ago, the County of Alameda passed an ordinance banning the possession and display of firearms on county property, effectively banning the T&S Gunshows from that venue. Later, that same County allowed other organizations to ignore this rule. It was a clear demonstration of politically correct prejudice against the Second Amendment. For the last 9 years, Russ and Sally Nordyke, with the guidance of their attorney Don Kilmer, have continued the fight to correct this injustice. The recent Supreme Court decision of Heller v District of Columbia has given new ammunition to the Nordykes and this battle will soon be taken up anew. Attached is a summary of the arguments soon to be waged. 4/20/2009 - Nineth Circuit Court Final Nordyke Decision - The court sided with the County of Alameda, so Russ and Sally will have to file a separate suit, this time on Second Amendment grounds.
